The Full Moon Drum Circle

What: Drumming, dancing, listening, celebrating!
Bring: Drums, instruments, animals, children, etc
Don't bring: Alcohol, please
When: 9pm, on the full moon, weather permitting
Where: The pond at the Japan House

Jane Marshall has organized a delightful drum circle to take place every full moon as long as the weather permits, and we would like to encourage all dancers and musicians to join in! The events take place at 9pm at the pond near the Japan house located in the U of I arboretum. The Japan house is located on Lincoln Avenue, south of Florida.

All are encouraged to attend, whether you would like to contribute by bringing an instrument, bringing a dance, or just bringing yourself to relax and listen. This is a family-friendly event, so please no alcohol, but pets, children, and friends are more than welcome.

There is no specific guarantee of contact improvisers being present at the drum circle, but a number of people are making an effort to be there each month. And, even if there is no contact improvisation, it still promises to be a fantastic time!
